As a parent and the acting PTO President of Westar Elementary School, I am proud to endorse Michael Todd and Bryan Cirrincione for re-election to the Liberty Elementary School District #25 Governing Board. They have worked tirelessly to ensure that our schools remain places where academic excellence is the priority. As parents of children that attend one of the schools in the liberty elementary school district it is heartwarming and encouraging to see such a hands-on approach that Michael Todd has when it comes to our children. I have seen him personally attend several school functions as well as our PTO meetings. He has been invited our dances, champs night, as well as our welcome back to school fundraiser which he happily takes his personal time and attends these functions. As parents we entrust all of our educators and our governing board members with the education and well-being of our children, and I am extremely confident in what Michael Todd has currently done and what I hope with his re-election that he continues to do in the future.

My sincere hope it that Micheal Todd and Bryan Cirrincione are Re-Elected so that they can continue to lead our district and be an advocate for us and our children.

I had the privilege of serving as a math teacher for 22 years in our district and am now retired, but I still follow our school board meetings. I have seen our board uplift the standards of education and I am quite impressed with the changes, particularly over the last couple of years. I have had the privilege of witnessing your dedication and commitment to our school district for the betterment of our community. I have also observed the same commitment from Vice President Bryan Parks, and more recently Bryan Cirrincione. The leadership has been powerful in driving positive change and progress in our schools, and I firmly believe that your continued service on the school board is crucial for our district's continued success.

I am writing to express my strong endorsement of Michael Todd for re-election to the school board. Mr. Todd has been a dedicated advocate for the best interests of our students, parents, and community, consistently demonstrating integrity and professionalism throughout his tenure.

From the very beginning of his service, Mr. Todd was among the first to recognize that the previous administration had failed to implement a proper curriculum despite spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to develop one. He took immediate action, bringing this issue to light and ensuring accountability. Additionally, he was instrumental in informing parents of gifted students that the district was not meeting the mandated expectations, advocating for these children while others lobbied against them.

Michael Todd is a diligent and thoughtful leader who thoroughly investigates the administration's claims, ensuring that the board makes informed decisions. As a former board member myself, I can attest to the fact that standing against the status quo can be met with resistance, but Mr. Todd has never shied away from doing what is right. Unlike some candidates who rely on their educational background to assert authority, Mr. Todd understands that the role of a school board member is about governance and business, not personal agendas. His extensive experience in governance has equipped him with a deep understanding of how governing bodies should operate, and he has gone above and beyond in his leadership of the school board.

While the school board is intended to be nonpartisan, many current members and candidates have allowed political agendas to influence their actions. When my own daughter was targeted by the administration, Mr. Todd stood by our side, fighting for justice not only for her but also for her classmates who were similarly affected by administrative wrongdoing.

Mr. Todd has engaged valuable resources for our district, brought professionalism to the board even in contentious times, and demanded accountability and high performance from the one employee of the board—the superintendent. He has consistently supported teachers, students, and parental rights, always prioritizing their needs over any administrative agenda.

During the unprecedented challenges of post-pandemic, Mr. Todd led the board through uncharted waters with determination and foresight, ultimately making our district stronger. His leadership has been critical to the district's success, and it would be a significant setback to lose his voice on the board. I was a Chief Fire Officer in Maricopa County, and throughout Arizona, for over 20 years. I am currently a Fire Chief in California. I have stayed informed and involved in Arizona and return there often. My daughter and grandchildren live in Maricopa County.

I have known Michael Todd since 1993, when we began working together at a Fire Department. Since then we have kept in contact through our careers and our love for baseball.

I have watched from afar as Michael became a Liberty Elementary School District (LESD) Governing Board Member and eventually the Board President. His leadership and dedication to his community has been clear during his time on the Board.

I wholeheartedly support Michael Todd in his re-election campaign to the LESD. I strongly believe he is the most qualified and experienced candidate for the position, but more important I believe his heart is in the right place and he is running for the position to truly serve the children.
